Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are set to visit Ayodhya tomorrow, becoming the first opposition leaders to do so since the consecration of the Ram temple. The visit holds significance as it marks the opposition's engagement with Ayodhya post-consecration, amidst efforts by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to bolster its presence in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Although invited to Ram Mandir consecretion ceremony at the temple that took place on January 22, Kejriwal said his preference was to visit the temple later with his parents, wife, and children.

Kejriwal mentioned during the consecration ceremony that the Delhi government would strive to organise special train services to Ayodhya.

“I met everyone. Everyone seems happy. After the consecration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, we will try to arrange more pilgrim trains for Ayodhya for people to visit,” Kejriwal said.
